- YR 186: T'Hrk born. As seventh child, he gets a lot of grief from his older and
much larger siblings. Childhood is nearly the death of him, teaching him self
control and long term planning.
- YR 189: Ma'Kt born. Her parents are pleased at her greenness and size. She is
dedicated to follow her mother into the mystic ways.
- YR 190: Ta'Makt born. Great rejoicing by his father at the greenness of his
skin and above average size. His mother is not so pleased about the above
average size, but she gets over it.
- YR 202: T'Hrk reaches majority. Two of his meaner, denser siblings are dead at
his hand. Over a score of enemy have died at his hands. He is declared exempt
by his tribal chieftain. His social status rises sharply. Within a year there
will be a new crop of shadow morkons in his tribe.
- YR 205: Ma'Kt reaches majority. Her rapport with the Elder Tribe is already a
thing of great awe in her tribe. Her ability to reach the overmind is strong
enough for them to teach her spells, and she starts to learn. Her goal is to
learn every spell ever known to the Morkon peoples. The rate at which she
learns and gains spells starts accelerating.
- YR 206: Ta'Makt reaches majority. He is still growing at a rate of an inch a
month. His size and intellect make him one of the most dangerous warriors in
the tribe. His tribal leader wisely banishes him to make his way in the
other tribes. This was not unexpected, nor done with malice.
While Ta'Makt could likely defeat the tribal leader in battle, he is not yet ruler
quality material and would lack support of the tribe and the mystics.
- YR 208: Ma'Kt turns down the position of Great Mystic to continue her research.
Her powers are already legendary. The tribe prospers greatly - many and
powerful are her suitors, but she is too busy for them. They do provide well
for the tribe. She is 8'10" and the inspiration (or intimidation) of every male
who sees her.
- YR 209: Ta'Makt ascends to tribal leadership of the largest tribe. He starts
consolidating the tribes by force and guile. His growth has stopped at just
over 9 feet.
- YR 210: Forces of Spectrum ambush a helper to the golden court. In the ensuing
air and ground battle, a silver dragon is killed and a red dragon is turned to
stone. Ta'Makt leads his forces to the site and they play a most minor role.
They do take tokens and totems of great power.
- Ta'Makt offers Ma'Kt the eye of the dragon [a perfect large gemstone,
formerly the eye of the stoned red dragon] as a personal gift. He also offers her the
position of Great Mystic of the entire Morkon peoples, along with everything of
permanent value. She accepts. She decides that this is the Morkon for
her. Their son Ta'Grak is born later that year.
- YR 214: Unification of the entirety of the morkon peoples is completed. Tribal
leaders are retained. They are asked to send their "problem warriors" for
training, and most happily they comply. The core of a real army is born.
- Explosive growth starts. It will take a few years for the mystics to
come to terms with the growth problem and its solutions.
- Ma'Kt strives to keep Ta'Grak's disease under control, but she knows
that when his late growth spurt hits that she will be unable to combat the disease.
- YR 215: Ma'Kt completes her powerstone "The Greater Eye." It has some quirks.
It is eminently usable though. She starts on the "Lesser Eye," finishing it
more quickly with the help of M'Brak and the Greater Eye.
- YR 216: The mystics implement agriculture and hunting rules, and the first laws
of the lands are passed down. The southward push for flatter, fertile land
begins.
- YR 220: Drow first contact. T'Hrk learns the languages of the world from the
Drow. Weapons trade begins for things the Morkons have that the Drow want.
T'Hrk starts his tour of the world.
- After four attempts to steal it, each ending with total failure, the
Drow quit trying to steal the Greater Eye. They issue a warning to their envoys - don't
get within a foot of that stone.
- YR 223: The mystics modify the birth and majority ceremonies.
New secrets are passed down to every mystic. The explosive growth rate starts to come under
control.
- T'Hrk, with Ta'Makt's authority, creates a formal organization for
shadow morkons. Any that can pass the entrance exam is declared exempt - and soon
every shadow morkon is a member. Their skills are languages, stealth,
observation, and assassination. The tribal leaders become either uneasy or very
loyal.
- YR 226: (Spring of the year) After one too many a raid, the army
moves to the Hudson border. Hostilities last till fall. (Fall) Sir Richard leads an
expedition into the Morkon lands.
- YR 226: (late in the year) Duke Hudson signs a peace treaty.
