	14 Kennan	Cardinal Titus of Lethbridge and Alaric the Druid killed in battle with Drow at the tomb of the Copper Paladin Abbey in northern Hudson burned by Knights of the Claw. Knights later vanquished in combat with morkons. Abbess Sister Kathryn returned to the site and began to rebuild with morkon assistance. Duke Hudson appeals the destruction of an abbey on lands claimed as his to the Pope. Order is sanctioned. Knights have a meeting with the Pope. "I'd rather face a Morkon, any day," one was heard to say afterwards.

	21 Mandean	Bishop Francis of Hampshire raised to Cardinal of Devonshire. Francis is not an exciting character. He is a scholar, and a rigid adherent to the most rigid of orders.
	28 Mandean	Cardinal of Waltham retires, Silas Waverly, Abbot of the Claw, is elevated to the post, retaining his duties as Abbot.
	Martin	Cardinal of Lethbridge siezes Claw lands. Banishes the Order and prohibits them from raising funds in Lethbridge for not less then seven years Sister Mary Anne Trenton, holder of the Derkesthai, is given charge over Ohramin's library. 'Tis a great honor, this, and one in which she has almost daily contact with the Pope. For, Pope Lucian is not a man to send someone to study such material, but rather one to devour and digest it himself.
	Scheran	Craig Michael McLeod, heir to Waltham, dies while rushing to console his wife after the death of their only child. His younger brother Lawrence is named as the new heir.Albert, Earl of Stanley dies. Lady Diane Devonshire hanged as a witch.
	Sinequanon	Jhereg & Sir Richard lead delegation to meet with the Ancient Druid Wood in attempt to liberate castle Llughen. Wood, seemingly both a silver dragon and the legendary Saint Martin.
	28 Sinequanon	Andrew Stanley named Duke of Chesterton
YR 228	7 Ohramin	Countess Evaine Corinna San Sebastian (Blackbird of the Anchor) weds Brandon, heir to the Marquis d'Harrogate in Stanley Hall in Arundel, Chesterton. Sister Mary Anne Trenton presides. Quest of the Holy Grail begins.
	7 Gregory	Jhereg, Richard, Blackbird, et al. return with the Holy Grail -- and a new treaty with the Morkons. Promised herein is not only a promise to return the Grail at its specified time but a promise to go to war with anyone who attempts to prevent such.
	Gregory	Order of Helm prepares to open Chapterhouse in Morkon territory. The chapterhouse will be located at the monastery run by Mother Katherine, missionary to the morkons.

	Ignatius	Unusually strong summer storms destroy Lethbridge grain crop. Weather throughout the realm begins to slowly eat away at grain reserves. In Hudson, where growing time is a very narrow window, the bad crops and other factors lead to a near total economic collapse. The proud duchy whose ancestors drafted the duchal pact, finds itself among the poorest of nations.

	7 Mandean	Pope makes statement: "Both swords, the spiritual and the material, are in the power of the Church; the one by the hand of the priest, the other by the hand of dukes and knights, but at the will and sufferance of the priest. One sword, moreover, ought to be under the other, and the temporal authority to be subjected to the spiritual. Therefore if earthly power shall err it shall be judged by the spiritual power. If the highest spiritual power on earth should err, it is to be judged by Bahamut alone."
	7 Mandean	Order of St. Aloysius founded. "Cleanliness is next to godliness." The Order chose St. Aloysius as its patron because of the unique history of this great martyr for the Church. According to Church records, St. Aloysius achieved his martyrdom due to the "Miracle of the Sewers" two centuries ago in Nairn. At that time, the temple of Bahamut was located in a low area of the city, and an aquaduct carrying sewage from the upper end of the city down to the river ran by the temple. during heavy spring flooding one year, a hole opened in the aquaduct just above the temple. Rather than have the holy temple defiled by the sewage, Father Aloysius dived into the aquaduct, plugging the hole with his own body until masons could effect repairs, thus saving the temple from defilement. He was canonized the following year. A plaque honoring his sacrifice is mounted at the site of the hole. Fraternal Order of Chemists and Natural Philosophers open a laboratory in Waltham. Ambermoor Castle completed. Foundation moves there immediately. The Duke of Pendleton has announced that if need be, the duchal grain reserve will be available to fend off starvation in areas of Pendleton hardest hit by the flooding in southern Pendleton.
	28 Mandean	Cases of a strange plague are spreading in Nairn, Waltham! Witch's Plague starts. Borders of duchy sealed off by neighbors
	1 Sinequanon	James McKitrick found alive. Judith quietly steps down. Diagnosis and study later reveal thatJames is in wonderful health -- for a man atleast 15 years older than he truly is. Foundation Researchers are called in. Sgacity explains that time magics were involved in his disappearance. He is in good shape, but has aged 15 years in the span of a few months. This tracks well with James' memories of the time, and with his son Ian who returned with him -- at age 13.
	Sinequanon	Outgoing ship traffic closed in York due to rapid spread of plague. Plague most prevalent among dock workers. Sinequanan. Lawrence of Waltham inducted into Legion of Alberak. Plague spreads to most port cities in the Realm. FOCNP begins negotiations to open a lab in Lethbridge. Trade to Elves closed until plague is under control. FOCNP announces it will not be openning in Lethbridge. Cure for plague discovered and FOCNP begins full scale production. While the cure is manufactured by the FOCNP, its distribution is controlled by the Church (the Claw, in particular). Claw reinstated in Lethbridge by Duke James. Lord Hesketh raised to Viscount for his role in returning James to power.
YR 233	Ohramin	Pope orders eveyone in the Vatican to take the plague cure. "As an example for all, I have required the enitrety of the Vatican to take the cure on the same day. For two weeks no souls will go in or out of the Vatican that we all might be cured, and once cured be free of the disease. Let there be no half measures in this. Entire villages should be treated on the same day where ever possible." "Let no man stop the churchmen who bring the cure to all of the Realm. And I require of the church that all who bring the cure to others be free of any pettiness or conflict." "Let no person be harmed in our efforts, but lets make sure that all of the faithful are cured." Bishop Sister Katherine called on the Church to deliver a shipment of the cure to the faithful of the north as soon as possible. "We have members of the faith dying up here." Late Ohramin. A rash of the plague was reported recently in Elsbane. Several villages are reported to have been effected. In the wake of winter storms, the cure was slow in arriving. Two families had been hanged in the meantime on suspicion of witchery. "'s jus' like 'de Pope sayd," replied one resident, "no 'alf measures." After pressure from plague, Claw reinstated in Hudson, McMannon and Chesterton. (The Claw controls the primary source of the cure for the plague.)

	23 Martin	Pope Lucian I dies of plague.
	Mandean	Brandon d'Harrogate crowned Marquis. Cardinal McRoy and his family were attacked just outside Trent. The Cardinal survived, but his entire family was wiped out before help could arrive. Sir Laurent, Knight of the Claw, weilder of Silibar the Holy Sword (etc) and Sgacity, Witch of Lethbridge, head of the Foundation, ambassador (etc), announced their engagement to be married. Kimberly begins her apprenticeship with Blackbird.
